Night Vision - Some Information and Resources

 Night vision devices are becoming very popular nowadays. The main reason behind their popularity is that we see so many movies related to this topic. When we talk about Night vision the first thing that comes to our mind is spy and action movies, helicopters hovering overhead helping the police in tracking robbers, a spy wondering in streets in night in search of some news, a detective with long coat searching for some new clues. These are those things that we see in movies and they become illusion of our mind.




Usually Night vision goggles are such devices which are light enhancing or they have thermal imaging tools. Such devices can make you see an object by the warmth that it emits or by using lights which are limited brightening lights. I once bought one of these goggles and those goggle nothing more than a toy but it was very effective tool for me to see in dark. Those goggles had to small torches attached on both ends with the help of which it became possible to see objects in night.


When we see and image with the help of a Night vision device then it becomes easier to see that image because that device has some enhanced light and due to this enhanced light it becomes possible for us to see those images which cannot be seen easily with human eye. Some times Night vision uses infrared detection technology so we can see thermal image of an object easily. Although it is not possible to see a clear and accurate image but you can easily make an idea that some object is placed here if you use NV Device.
